will be bred to: Foxglove Big Ben

Foxglove Big Ben was bred by Laura & David Hagey, two well respected American Kennel Club Judges and the founders of Foxglove Mastiffs; and was in Laura's words, "The best combo we had in 25 years of mastiff breeding". Ben comes from an extensive family (including parents, siblings & immediate family members) of MCOA Hall of Fame dogs (inducted for having produced more than a set number of champions), including Best In Show, Best of Breed in Specialty Show & Award of Merit winners.

Ben's dam, Am.Can.Ch. Night Stalker Enchantress, HOF was also the dam of MBISS Am.Ch. Regal Hill Sudden Impact "Willie," (grandsire of MBIS MBISS Am.Ch. Southport's Sherman) -- an MCOA National Specialty winner and top dog in his time. She was also a full litter sister to Am.Ch. Night Stalker Sillers Clyde, HOF & a 1/2 sister to BISS Am.Can.Ch. Matts Joshua of Dogwood Knoll!

This breeding will tie into some very old lines that were well known for their health & longevity, with the majority of those dogs living into their teens - in fact Ben's sister just died at Christmas, at 12 years of age. Not a bad average, for a breed commonly known to live 6-8 years on average!

There were a whole host of reasons why we chose to go with Big Ben - from the long lifespans, impeccable (proven!) temperaments, Therapy Dog mentality (absolutely bomb-proof) and lack of allergies/heart/eye/hip problems; to the incomparable pedigree combination and structural qualities offered across the board.

We will post an update here once the breeding has taken place!!

In the meantime however, if you have any questions or are interested in being placed on our mailing/waiting list for what promises to be a spectacular litter... please call, email, or click the link below to be directed to our online form. We will get back to you as soon as we can!
